Course Title: Junior Fire Officers Training Programme
Organised by: CIASL Academy in association with ARFF, CIAL
Duration: 5 Weeks
Schedule: 10th September 2025 – 14th October 2025
Location: CIASL Academy, CIAL, Nedumbassery, Kochi Airport P.O., Kerala – 683111
Capacity: Maximum 25 candidates per batch
Course Purpose
This programme is designed to prepare participants for supervisory roles in ARFF operations. It combines theoretical sessions and practical exercises to develop leadership, decision-making, incident command, and crew management skills under challenging emergency conditions.
Entry Requirements
Currently employed at an airport or aeronautical facility
Below 50 years of age (subject to medical fitness)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in an Airport Fire Department
Completion of ARFF Basic Training (or equivalent)
Proficiency in English (written & spoken)
Facilities at CIASL Academy
Air-conditioned training rooms & computer-based learning systems
Firefighting equipment demonstration area
Outdoor training ground with ARFF equipment from CIAL ARFF
Accommodation (twin/triple sharing) with meals and refreshments
Uniform & Dress Code
Participants must bring:
PT Dress (2 sets – white T-shirt & shorts, PT shoes, socks)
Boiler Suit / Overall Combination (2 sets), Gum boots, Helmet, Belt
Civil dress (white full-sleeved shirt, black trousers & shoes)
(Note: Uniform kit can be arranged by the Academy at approx. ?7,500/- if required.)
